Illuminaughty LA is the Los Angeles chapter of a national members-only lifestyle events brand rather than a single fixed clubhouse — it organizes private, invitation-only parties and cocktail mixers for non-monogamous couples and singles at rotating venues around the city. The Los Angeles chapter has been running since 2022, drawing couples and singles roughly 21 to 49 to private homes and rented estates in neighborhoods including Hollywood, Beverly Hills, and Bel Air. Membership is free but application-based: prospective members submit photos and a bio and are individually vetted before being approved to buy event tickets. Parties take place in privately owned or rented residences — anything from a cozy single-family house to a high-rise apartment or a sprawling estate — dressed with curated music, lighting, and decor, and staffed by private security who check IDs and tickets at the door. Multiple rooms are set up for different kinds of play, including massage tables and group-play spaces, and some venues include light bondage equipment, though kink is not the focus and advanced practices such as heavy impact, breath, fire, or blood play are not allowed. Most Los Angeles private parties host 40 to 80 members, with occasional larger mansion parties or destination retreats drawing 150 or more.
