Which US and Canadian cities have the most lifestyle clubs? Data-driven ranking based on club count, variety, and verified activity.

How We Ranked

This ranking uses data from our directory of 300+ verified lifestyle clubs. We scored cities based on:

  • Total club count โ€” more options means more variety
  • Venue diversity โ€” a mix of on-premise, resorts, events, and organizers
  • Category coverage โ€” LGBTQ+-friendly, newbie-friendly, upscale, BYOB options
  • Active verification โ€” percentage of clubs confirmed as currently operating

Cities need at least 3 clubs to qualify. Rankings are updated as our directory grows.

The Rankings

The cities with the highest concentration of lifestyle clubs tend to be major metropolitan areas with large populations and active nightlife scenes. States like California, Florida, and Texas consistently lead in total club count, with their largest cities hosting the most options.

Factors that make a city great for the lifestyle scene include: a warm climate (outdoor venues and resorts), relaxed local regulations, a large and diverse population, and proximity to tourism corridors.

Beyond the Big Cities

Don't overlook smaller cities and suburban areas. Many lifestyle clubs intentionally locate outside major downtown areas for privacy, parking, and lower rent. A city with 2-3 well-run clubs can offer a better experience than a city with 10 mediocre ones.
