Maxwell Manor

Maxwell Manor occupies the converted shell of the former Potters Arms pub on Brooke Street in Chorley, Lancashire, a community local that served the town for more than thirty-five years before closing in September 2024. Opened in 2025 by Liana Rainford and Patrick Wolff, the venue operates as a members-only adult social club with an explicitly inclusive ethos — describing itself as a safe space open to straight, gay, bi, trans, queer, pansexual, kinky, asexual, and curious members alike. The original pub frontage has been bricked up; guests arrive discreetly through a rear entrance. The interior has been refurbished with themed sets and bespoke furnishings, and the venue holds a full premises licence for alcohol and entertainment. A licensed bar operates at every event, and on-site lockers store members belongings — phones must be deposited for the entire visit. The space doubles as a professional photography and videography studio available for separate hire. On-site parking is limited; paid car parks are available nearby, and several hotels are within easy reach for travelling members. The programme runs to 2am and covers ticketed club nights, play parties, and workshops. Recurring formats include singles nights, couples-only gatherings, all-female club nights, kink and fetish play parties, FemDom evenings, and dominance workshops. Attendance requires annual membership: £20 for single women, £25 for single men, and £35 for couples, with an additional charge for specialist event nights. Event tickets are non-refundable, must match the members name exactly, and dress codes vary per event as detailed on individual tickets.
