Oasis Aqualounge

Oasis Aqualounge is a water-themed, clothing-optional adult spa and social club occupying a 9,000-square-foot restored 19th-century mansion at 231 Mutual Street in downtown Toronto. Open since 2010 to all guests aged 19 and over, the club does not describe itself as a swinger club — it positions as a body-positive, consent-forward venue drawing a broad community: monogamous couples, polyamorous individuals, kink enthusiasts, and guests who want spa facilities in a sex-positive setting without expectation of partner activity. Admission covers a day membership, locker access, and towel service; no separate ongoing membership is required. The crowd typically spans the mid-thirties to mid-fifties, and the venue has been recognised four times as one of Canada's fastest-growing businesses (2019, 2020, 2024, and 2025). The centrepiece is a year-round outdoor heated pool — maintained near 100°F in winter — set within a private courtyard flanked by a hot tub and a dry sauna. Two licensed bars serve alcohol and soft drinks across the property, with poolside patio seating for guests moving between the spa and social areas. Play areas span four floors and include a dungeon equipped with a swing and a St. Andrew's Cross, plus a private room on the fourth floor that any guest can reserve in one-hour increments at no extra charge. Staff known as Aquaflirt hosts circulate throughout, offering tours for first-time visitors and facilitating introductions. A colour-coded silicone wristband system near the entrance lets guests signal their openness to interaction. Oasis is open 1pm to 3am, 362 days a year (last admission 2am; closed Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and one Monday in December for maintenance). Fridays and Saturdays are reserved for women and couples only; solo men may attend Sunday through Thursday. Approximately once a month — typically the fourth Monday — the club runs Sapphic Aquatica, an event exclusively for women and trans guests. Door prices include HST: solo women pay CAD $15 (Sun–Thu) or $25 (Fri–Sat); couples pay $100 or $115 respectively; solo men pay $100 on eligible weekdays. No outside drinks are permitted. Walk-ins are welcome most nights, though high-demand events may require advance booking via the online ticket calendar.
