Scarlet Ranch

Set on five acres of park-like grounds in Littleton's south Denver suburbs, Scarlet Ranch has operated since 2003 as an upscale lifestyle club, occupying a roughly 24,000-square-foot modern mountain lodge known as Squirrel Creek Lodge. Soaring split-log ceilings, river-rock bars and rustic touches lend a Swiss-chalet warmth. The main floor holds two bars, high-top tables, leather lounges, a billiard room and shuffleboard, opening onto a large dance floor with a raised DJ booth and a stage. Downstairs are the play spaces: a group area of four queen beds, six curtained private alcoves and voyeuristic showers. Open Wednesday through Sunday with themed events nearly every night and major weekly parties, the Ranch draws a well-dressed, upscale crowd averaging about 37, spanning late-20s to 60s. It welcomes couples and single women, with select single men admitted. Amenities include hot tubs, the on-site Oreads steakhouse, a praised Sunday brunch, BYOB bar service, and outdoor cabanas, a fire-pit teepee and seasonal pool-style parties.
