SNCTM is a private, invitation-only society built around black-tie masquerades and immersive erotic theater, organized around a stated principle of affirmative consent ("consent is sacred"). The club was founded in Beverly Hills, California in 2013; its own site now states it is "based in New York," and its public 2026 events calendar lists exclusively NYC Masquerade dates, though the brand continues to reference its Beverly Hills origin and press accounts describe at least one recent private gathering back on the West Coast. Rather than operating from a single fixed clubhouse, SNCTM stages its masquerades at rotating, undisclosed private venues, with the location shared only with approved guests shortly before the event. A typical evening opens with a cocktail-hour atmosphere before moving into choreographed erotic theater and more participatory scenes across multiple rooms. Devices are checked at the door and photography or recording is banned throughout; events are cashless with an open bar included, and a private hostess ("Courtier") and VIP table service are available for an added fee. Entry requires a vetted application. Approved guests can buy individual event tickets (roughly $500-$9,000), while single men must additionally hold at least the entry-level Aurum membership ($15,000 per year); higher tiers include Dominus ($35,000 per year) and Deus ($125,000 per year). Single women may attend without charge via a curated guest list, and couples submit one joint application. Dress is black tie -- cocktail attire or fine fetishwear for women, cocktail attire for men -- with masquerade masks required, and all guests must be 21 or older. House rules center on the club's published Rules of Consent, which require explicit, informed, and ongoing affirmative consent for every interaction, with security empowered to remove anyone who violates the policy.
