The Green Door

Occupying 18,000 square feet inside the Commercial Center strip mall on East Sahara Avenue, The Green Door has been a Las Vegas fixture since owner Joey Cavaretta opened the doors in 1998. The two-storey venue sits beneath an emerald-green sign about ten minutes from the Strip and operates as an adults-only sex club rather than a traditional swingers club, drawing a broad, international mix of couples and singles from all walks of life. The ground floor and upper level hold a maze of open play areas and themed rooms -- a dungeon, a doctors office, a jacuzzi room, a shadow-box room, a blue room and a voyeur room among them -- many fitted with glass walls or chain-link doors that invite watching but limit access. A couples-only section upstairs contains five small doorless rooms bounded by roughly six-foot walls, plus a two-way mirror viewing area; a separate couples-plus-one zone requires an escort invitation from the hosting couple. Multiple non-alcoholic bars are scattered across both floors, a game room and a chill lounge offer decompression space, and the dimly black-lit interior keeps the atmosphere more anonymous than performative. No cameras or recording devices are permitted inside, towels are freely available, and an all-male staff patrols the premises to enforce consent and house rules.
