Club Hedonism

Club Hedonism was, for decades, the oldest and longest-running swingers club in South Florida — a private, members-only, BYOB on-premise lifestyle nightclub tucked into a low-slung commercial strip at 1000 E Sample Rd in Pompano Beach. It kept a deliberately discreet, no-smoking, members-only door and ran Wednesday through Saturday from the evening into the early-morning hours, drawing a couples-and-singles crowd to its bar, lounge, dancefloor, locker room, and on-premise playrooms. During the COVID pandemic the venue was rebranded and remodeled under new management, reopening as Defy Lifestyle Club ("Club Defy"). The club's own Facebook announced it had "taken this opportunity during the Covid Pandemic to Rebrand and make some upgrades to one of South Florida's most historic lifestyle clubs," and the original clubhedonism.com address now greets visitors with "The oldest Swingers Club in South Florida has a NEW LOOK!" before forwarding them to the Defy site. As Defy, the same address still operates as South Florida's premier lifestyle club: a bar/lounge/dancefloor up front, a locker room, and a large open group playroom with beds plus several private playrooms off the main floor — including a multi-person shower in the play area. It remains BYOB (bartenders mix your own alcohol with provided mixers; tip the bartender), open Wednesday–Saturday roughly 9pm–4am, with couples, single women, and (on select nights) single men admitted. The Club Hedonism name is effectively retired; anyone searching for it today is pointed to Defy Lifestyle Club at the identical Pompano Beach location.
