Illuminaughty (San Francisco)

Illuminaughty is not a fixed-address club but a roving, invitation-only party series that has been lighting up the Bay Area since early 2024. Events land in private residences — member-owned homes, upscale rental estates, even multi-thousand-square-foot Victorian mansions — with the exact address released only to ticket holders on the day of the event. Capacity ranges from intimate 40-person gatherings in single-family houses to 150-plus blowout mansion parties, and each one is themed: past concepts have included Great Gatsby, Neon, Masquerade, and Jungle, with outfit inspiration posted on the event page beforehand. Membership is free but selective. Applicants submit four clear photos, a bio, and essay-style answers on consent and intentions; approval typically comes within three days, and rejections arrive as silence. The crowd skews young — mostly late twenties to early forties — and events are open to couples, single women, non-binary guests, and a small, carefully balanced number of single men. Parties are BYOB, with mixers, water, snacks, and champagne flutes provided. Protection is stocked in every play area. Doors open for an arrival window (typically 8:00–9:30 pm for night parties), after which no one is admitted. A mandatory consent talk kicks off the evening before any play begins; phones are forbidden once it starts. Multiple bedrooms are staged for open-door play, and rooms may include massage tables, group-play beds, or light BDSM equipment. Private security staffs every event, and a coat-check area is provided.
