Insomnia Hedonistic Nightclub

Insomnia occupies a Gründerzeit ballroom built in 1911–12 on Alt Tempelhof in southern Berlin — a listed historic venue that has hosted the club's hedonistic party series since its founding in 1996, and permanently since 17 February 2006. The interior spans two dance floors, dedicated BDSM playrooms, a voyeur zone with performance stage, communal jacuzzi and showers, designer lounge furniture, and a cash bar; an awareness team is present at all events. Party nights run Tuesday through Saturday, with themed programming across swinger, fetish, BDSM, and queer-inclusive formats. International DJs anchor sets in techno, dark-wave, and gothic electronic genres. An on-site adult boutique offers last-minute essentials. The club markets explicitly to couples, singles of all genders, trios, and polyamorous communities, and operates a dedicated 'My First Time' page guiding newcomers through its etiquette and layout. Entry requires sexy, fetish, or elegant evening wear — erotic lingerie, BDSM attire, themed costumes, and daring outfits are encouraged; casual streetwear and trainers are refused at the door. The venue is cash-only and photo-prohibition-enforced: mobile phones must be checked to the cloakroom on entry, and photography is prohibited throughout. Age minimum is 18 with photo ID.
