KOW2 — self-billed as "die älteste frivole Bar Hamburgs" (Hamburg's oldest frivolous bar) — occupies Luisenweg 119 in the Hamm district, a short distance east of Hamburg's city centre. Operated by Kay Lederer Unterhaltungsgastronomie, it runs as an erotic lifestyle bar for singles and couples of all genders and sexual orientations, with the stated aim of providing a welcoming atmosphere rather than the scale and anonymity of a large club. The house rules position consent as non-negotiable and make explicit that all guests are to be treated with equal respect regardless of gender or sexual orientation. The venue combines a bar and small dance floor with two dedicated playrooms equipped for BDSM and SM play — fittings include a glory hole and a gynaecological chair. Changing rooms and showers are located in the basement level. Hygiene supplies, towels, and complimentary snacks are provided free of charge, and free surface parking is available on-site. Payment is accepted by EC/debit card or cash. Regular opening nights run Thursday (20:00–03:00) and Friday and Saturday (20:00–04:00), with two monthly specials: the first Wednesday of each month (18:00–01:00, a mixed all-welcome event) and the last Sunday of each month (19:00–01:00, a dedicated BDSM Playnight). There is no admission charge, but minimum spend rules apply — €15 for women, €25 for couples, and a €30 mandatory first-drink purchase for solo men. The dress code specifies erotic or smart attire; printed T-shirts, shorts, sweatpants, and open-toed shoes on men are refused at the door. Photography and phone use are prohibited throughout the entire venue.
