Mike's Place

Mike's Place is a licensed lifestyle club occupying a commercial unit at the Platinum Business Park on Maunder Street in Slacks Creek, roughly 20 kilometres south of Brisbane's CBD. Hosted by Ian and Lyn, the club has been recognised by RedHotPie — Australia's largest lifestyle platform — as the top swingers club in Queensland, and positions itself as an upmarket, inclusive venue for broad-minded couples and singles from across southeast Queensland. The atmosphere is described by management as warm and sociable rather than nightclub-loud, with no pressure to participate. The venue is fitted out with a bar, a lounge, multiple private playrooms, change rooms with individual lockers, and a large outdoor spa. Entry for couples covers all facilities, live entertainment, big-screen movies, hot and cold finger food served throughout the night, and complimentary tea, coffee, and soft-drink mixers. Alcohol is strictly bring-your-own: guests hand their bottles to bar staff on arrival and are served throughout the evening. Towels are provided and a condom and lubricant vending machine is available on site. According to the club's FAQ, Friday nights typically attract 50 to 90 attendees; Saturday nights run smaller, with around 20 to 40 couples. Doors open every Friday and Saturday from 8:00pm to 2:00am. Couples pay $80 and single women $30 on either night. Single men may attend Fridays only at $80, subject to a cap of no more than 50% of the night's total attendance; advance booking is required and a one-off annual membership of $100 must be arranged before a first visit. Saturday nights are reserved strictly for couples and single ladies. All guests must be 18 or over with photo ID; those who appear under 21 are expected to present it. A neat and smart-casual dress standard applies and shoes are mandatory. The phone line — 0431 846 883 — takes calls after 10:00am on Fridays and Saturdays.
