Raptures Swingers Club

Raptures Swingers Club occupies a discrete premises at 18 Ferndell St in South Granville, a mixed residential and light-industrial suburb roughly 20 kilometres west of Sydney's CBD. The venue has operated under council approval as a swingers club since at least 2006 and falls under Cumberland Council jurisdiction. It bills itself as a couples-and-singles venue. The play space is configured as an open-plan basement area furnished with beds, couches and a massage table rather than divided into separate private rooms, giving the venue a more communal character than club-style setups with enclosed booths. In 2020 the premises underwent a council-approved internal refurbishment (MOD2020/0380). A subsequent 2021 modification application (MOD2021/0335) sought approval to add alcohol service alongside further interior reconfiguration; prior to that application the venue appears to have operated without an on-site liquor licence.
