Shed 16

Shed 16 is an adults-only lifestyle and swinger venue occupying a purpose-built space at 2/16 Cumberland Drive in Seaford, a bayside suburb on Melbourne's south-eastern fringe roughly 40 kilometres from the CBD. The club operates as a sex-on-premises venue with an explicit commitment to LGBTIQA+ inclusion, framing its mission around a safe, sex-positive environment that welcomes people of all genders, backgrounds, and levels of experience. The ethos is deliberately no-pressure: attendance carries no expectation of participation, and first-timers are actively accommodated through a gradual introduction to the space. The venue spans two floors. The ground floor anchors each session with a fully licensed bar and café, two spas, a dry sauna, a steam room, large open shower facilities, secure lockers, and free internet stations. The upper level is dedicated to play, hosting private lockable rooms, open group areas, a bondage and kink dungeon, sling rooms, a suckatorium, voyeur rooms, and a porn lounge. An outdoor courtyard serves as the smoking and vaping area. Dress expectations shift between floors: the ground level permits casual attire for the first two hours, while upstairs requires towel, underwear, lingerie, or nude. Condoms are provided throughout. Four weekly sessions run Tuesday through Saturday. TABOO (Tuesday, 7 pm–1 am) prices couples at AUD $35, single ladies at $15, and pre-booked single men at $60. DESIRES (Thursday, noon–6:30 pm) carries the same couple and ladies rates, with single men at $60 (or $50 before 1 pm). SHARED SECRETS (Friday, 8 pm–2 am) admits couples at $70 and single ladies at $25; single men are not admitted. CLUB EROTIQUE (Saturday, 8 pm–2 am) prices couples at $60, single ladies at $20, and pre-booked single men at $150. Entry is cash only at the door, with an on-site ATM; EFTPOS is accepted at the bar. A $10 surcharge applies on public holidays.
