Showboat is a swingers club housed aboard a moored vessel on the Lagedijk waterway in Zaandijk, Noord-Holland, roughly fifteen kilometres north of Amsterdam. The boat setting is the venue's defining feature, attracting visitors from across the wider Amsterdam region on a seven-day schedule that spans both daytime and late-night sessions. It operates as an all-inclusive club on most days, with entry covering food and drink. The upper deck forms the social core of the venue, combining a bar, a buffet of warm and cold dishes, a dance floor, and lounge seating fitted out in polished wood, copper accents, and deep-red upholstery. The lower deck is devoted to play, housing a BDSM room, a jacuzzi, a sauna, a Turkish steam bath, and several erotically themed rooms. Dress code — tight boxer shorts for men, lingerie for women — applies throughout the venue; first-timers are permitted to start the evening in street clothes at the bar. Secure clothing lockers and shower facilities are available. Themed Friday evenings rotate across SM/Fetish Play parties, Gangbang nights, and Bi Fabulous events, the latter restricted to women and bisexual men with heterosexual single men excluded. The club is open daily. Weekday daytime sessions run Monday and Tuesday 12:00–17:30 (couples €40, women/T-girls €15, men €92.50) and Thursday 13:00–21:30 (couples €72.50, women/T-girls €35, men €120). Wednesday extends to 23:30 with tiered pricing: couples €92.50 full day, dropping to €60 after 19:00. Fridays run 13:00–02:30 at €110 per couple, or from 21:00 on the first Friday of each month. Saturdays are evening-only, 21:00–04:30, with couples at €92.50. Sunday afternoons (15:00–21:30) admit couples and women free of charge against a minimum bar spend of €35 and €20 respectively. Single men may attend every session but must hold a prior reservation; walk-ins are turned away without exception. No admittance is given after 02:00.
