The Attic Experience

The Attic Experience is a lifestyle and swingers club occupying Carrington House on Ascot Drive in the Allenton district of Derby, owned and operated by Ron Rothwell through Attic Media (Midlands) Limited. Built from the ground up by swingers, for swingers — in the club’s own words — it describes itself explicitly as a social and play space, not a nightclub, strip club, or brothel. No membership is required, the venue welcomes all orientations and experience levels, and newcomers are offered a guided tour of the premises by a staff member on arrival. Entry is cash only throughout, and guests must be 21 or over. The venue is notably large, encompassing a cinema lounge, a fully equipped dungeon with an enforced safe-word system (red/amber/green), a hot tub available on Friday and Saturday evenings, showers, separate locker rooms for single males and for couples and TV guests, a tea bar, a jail cell room, a turret, dark rooms, a glory-hole area, and a range of lockable private rooms. The club operates a BYOB policy throughout — no alcohol is sold on the premises. Mobile phones are banned in all public areas without exception, cameras are prohibited site-wide, and CCTV covers communal areas only, with toilets, showers, changing rooms, and private rooms explicitly excluded. The club runs daytime sessions Monday through Saturday (10am–5pm) alongside evening sessions on Wednesdays through Saturdays. Monday is reserved for TV and Admirers events. Evening sessions run Wednesday and Thursday until midnight, Friday until 1am, and Saturday until 2am, with smart casual dress required at all times and formal footwear for men on Friday and Saturday evenings. Daytime entry is free for couples and single ladies; single males pay £15. Evening entry is £20 for couples and TVs, £15 for single females, and £35 for single males. On Fridays and Saturdays, single males are admitted from 8pm only, last entry 11pm, and entry is not guaranteed. Themed party nights are held on the mid and late Saturdays of each month.
