The Playgrounds SLE is a lifestyle events organisation founded in 2013 that has been running verified adult parties for over 12 years. Based in the Midlands, the group operates primarily out of a private residential venue called The Lifestyle Lodge — a large, secluded five-to-six-bedroom house in Staffordshire, situated near Burton upon Trent in South Derbyshire. Discreetly set away from neighbours, the property is run by a couple known to regulars as J and R, who personally host each event and are described consistently in guest reviews as warm, professional, and community-minded. The organisation bills itself explicitly as an LGBTQIA+ safe haven and operates as a non-profit, donating proceeds from charity collections to causes including Help for Heroes and Dementia UK. The Lifestyle Lodge accommodates up to 50 to 60 guests and features three themed playrooms — the Black and White Room, the Blue Room, and the Red Boudoir — alongside a bar area called the Backlash Bar, an open-fire lounge, a hot tub, a bathroom and shower, two toilets, and extensive garden space including a covered patio. In warmer months, a BBQ is added to the garden and outdoor socialising extends the party into the grounds. Soft drinks and mixer drinks are included in the ticket contribution; alcohol is strictly bring-your-own (BYOB). A buffet is provided. The venue runs themed events as well as its recurring TABU series — dedicated bi and trans nights — which have their own Telegram community group. Events typically run for six hours and regularly draw between 40 and 60 guests; a minimum of 30 attendees is maintained as policy. All events are strictly pre-paid, guest-list only — no walk-ins are accepted, and the full venue address is released only to confirmed ticket holders in the week before the event. Tickets are purchased by submitting a request form and paying via PayPal or a SumUp payment link; contributions are non-refundable and non-transferable. Entry requires photo ID matched to the name on the booking. Guests must be 25 or over. The organisation requires verification through lifestyle platforms such as Fab Swingers, SpicyMatch, Pineapple App, or Fetlife; a minimum of two recent meet verifications is expected, though couples, single ladies, and transgender guests new to the scene may attend with a face photo and brief background in lieu. A limited number of verified single men are admitted where specifically stated on the event listing. Dress code is smart and sexy; trainers, T-shirts, blue jeans, sportswear, and hoodies are all grounds for refusal of entry.
