The Playground RI

The Playground RI is a weekly lifestyle house party run out of a converted three-family home in Providence's Oakland Avenue Historic District, operated by hosts Eddy and Viv Badd of BBadd Entertainment. Spread across four floors and roughly 4,000 square feet, the venue mixes themed social spaces with dedicated play areas: the ground floor opens with a meet-and-greet lounge alongside a Wild West room, a Pirate room, and a kink-themed Red Room. The second floor holds a dance floor with a stripper pole and four more playrooms. The third floor is towel-and-robe only, with two private rooms, a glory hole, and an open group play area; the dungeon is fully equipped with two sex swings, a massage table, a Sybian, and a doctor's office with two exam tables. Saturday nights (8 pm-2 am) are the main weekly event, open to couples, single women, and a limited number of single men (21+), with the host managing ratios carefully. Friday Fusion nights run the same hours but tilt toward BDSM and kink and are open to all genders. The hosts personally tour first-timers through the space, answer questions, and make guests feel at home; reviewers consistently describe the atmosphere as friendly and community-driven rather than nightclub-cold.
