The Vanilla Alternative

The Vanilla Alternative is a private members' lifestyle venue set within The Anchor Lodge Hotel on the A1 Great North Road in Tempsford, Bedfordshire, roughly midway between Bedford and St Neots. Operated by The Anchor Inn Tempsford Limited, the club draws members from across England, with free on-site parking for up to 200 vehicles and on-site hotel accommodation available for event attendees. Membership is required before attending; applications are reviewed within 72 hours and carry an annual fee of £25. All guests must be aged 21 or over. The venue features a fully licensed bar and dance floor, multiple playrooms, a dungeon with a swing, and a large hot tub that member reviews consistently describe as the social centrepiece of each evening. More than 150 lockers and showers are available on-site, and condoms are provided throughout. The on-site hotel at The Anchor Lodge is bookable through the club's website, with check-in from 5pm and check-out by 11:30am; a shuttle bus service runs to and from nearby Premier Inn locations for those staying off-site. Staff offer welcome tours for first-timers and a consent culture is maintained throughout. The weekly programme runs on Fridays (Freedom Friday, 20:00–02:30) and Saturdays (Saturday Seduction, 20:00–03:00). Freedom Friday admits couples, single females, and — in a capped allocation to preserve gender ratios — single males who must pre-book; advance tickets are £35 per couple, £10 per single female, and £40 for single males. Saturday Seduction is couples and ladies only, with advance tickets at £45 per couple and £15 per single female; single males are not admitted on Saturdays. The calendar also includes a monthly Bi Night, Milf Club sessions, the Onyx interracial night, and an annual Festival of Fun weekender. The venue is fully licensed — no outside alcohol is permitted — and mobile phones and recording devices are not allowed inside. A smart-dress code applies on arrival; guests entering any play space must dress down to lingerie, underwear, robes, or less.
