Founded by Dan Camelot with a mission to be open to "all people, not just the Ken and Barbies of the world," the club draws straight, bi, gay, and trans-friendly members from across the Carolinas. Events are hosted at properties like Holiday Inn Express Gastonia and The Gold Club Charlotte, with buffet, live DJ, and pool access included in the night. Getting started requires a one-time signed waiver before your first event — after that, you're in the community. Single males need to be vetted by the team or an existing couple before attending. Hotel rooms at takeover venues are bookable separately (Friday from $109, Saturday from $125 + tax), making it easy to turn a Saturday party into a full weekend. Pricing for main events runs around $78 for couples and $94 for single males with prepayment required for the latter. The club hosts meet & greets at local spots like Leather & Lace Gastonia as a low-pressure intro — just mention "Pineapple" or "Camelot" at the door for free entry.
