Carolina Friends

Carolina Friends is the oldest lifestyle club in the Carolinas — founded in 1991 by eight Charlotte couples looking to host private parties in a welcoming, judgment-free atmosphere. Over three-and-a-half decades the club grew to add more than 40,000 couples to its roster, built its own dedicated facility called The Estate in 2000, and expanded to serve both the Charlotte metro and the Triad (Winston-Salem and Greensboro). In 2012 The Estate was lost to political pressure, and in 2016 new ownership stepped in to keep the club alive rather than let it dissolve. Today Carolina Friends runs full hotel takeovers every Friday and Saturday night — entire hotels reserved exclusively for members, giving events the privacy and scale you can't get at a smaller venue. Charlotte parties regularly draw 400+ couples; Triad events typically see 150+. Each event includes a live DJ and dance floor, a full buffet, BYOB with bartender and free mixers, co-ed showers, towels and lockers, and seasonal pool access. A late-night breakfast gathering caps off each evening. Private activity areas, group rooms, and a voyeur/exhibition space round out the play areas. Membership is $13.68/month and requires a free profile with your legal name before purchase — names are kept strictly private and used only for check-in. Event admission is sold separately and priced per event. Single females are always welcome; single males are admitted at most events but are limited based on attendance balance. The club has no public social media — communication happens through the member platform (private chat, AutoDate, passkey photos) and the three major lifestyle directories: SLS Club #8112, SDC, and Kasidie Club #277.
