Club ESP (Extra Sensual People)

Club ESP — Extra Sensual People — holds the distinction of being the oldest swingers club in the Maritimes, having operated continuously since 1991 near the Nova Scotia–New Brunswick border outside Amherst, NS. Current director Dana took ownership in 2006, steering the club away from its early dance-hall format toward an intimate, pre-screened members clubhouse model. Membership is open to couples and single ladies only; every applicant speaks with Dana by phone before gaining access to events or the private members community — a screening process that keeps the guest list verified and the atmosphere pressure-free. The private 3,300-square-foot clubhouse includes a disco dance floor, comfortable conversation lounges, dedicated play areas, a sauna, an indoor Jacuzzi, and a seasonal outdoor hot tub. Dana guiding philosophy is roughly 80 percent social, 20 percent sexual — parties feature themes, icebreakers, mixer games, and name tags, and host couples are on hand to welcome newcomers. The membership demographic spans roughly ages 25 to 55, drawing couples from across Atlantic Canada, with some reportedly driving five or six hours to attend. Parties run twice monthly through summer and once monthly the rest of the year. Attendance requires advance registration via the website or by calling 1-888-732-0330; events are paid at check-in, with regular club parties priced at $129.95 CAD per couple ($64.95 CAD for single ladies) and social events at $29.95 CAD per couple. The club is BYOB, with HST added at checkout. Beyond the clubhouse, Club ESP organises ancillary social outings — campouts, hotel suite parties, and lifestyle travel cruises — and founded MASCA (Maritime Atlantic Swingers Club Association), a regional network of Atlantic Canadian lifestyle clubs.
