Club Paradise

Club Paradise occupies an intentionally inconspicuous address on Schaafstraat in Amsterdam-Noord — an industrial pocket north of the IJ waterway — and operates as one of the city's established lifestyle clubs for couples and singles. The venue markets itself as 'de mooiste parenclub van Amsterdam' (Amsterdam's finest couples club) and has built its reputation on upscale facilities, a rotating programme of themed events, and an atmosphere that positions itself as sensual rather than hectic. First-time visitors are offered a guided walkthrough of the space on arrival. The interior is spacious and atmospheric, anchored by a dance floor, a full bar serving cocktails and snacks, and large U-shaped sofas that allow groups to gather comfortably. Dedicated facilities include a heated swimming pool, sauna and Turkish steam bath, a darkroom, a kinky cage, multiple private lockable rooms, open erotic areas and relaxation spaces. A rooftop smoking area is reached by three flights of stairs. Secure lockers hold street clothes and valuables, and condoms are distributed throughout the erotic areas. The crowd tends to dress deliberately — lingerie and provocative attire for women, boxers or similarly revealing clothing for men — and the overall aesthetic is high-effort. Makeup artists and massage services appear at select special events. The venue runs Friday through Sunday. Friday brings the recurring After Three afternoon party, opening at 15:00 and running to 03:00. Saturday nights (20:00–03:00) host themed Couples Paradise events, restricted to couples and single women; entry is €100 per couple and €50 for a single woman, with single men barred from Saturday admission. Sundays (15:00–23:00) run Afterglow in Paradise sessions — open to couples, single women and single men — with the third Sunday of each month reserved for a dedicated BDSM edition. Entry on Saturdays includes a hot and cold buffet; Fridays and Sundays include finger food. Prices may vary on special-event nights as noted on event flyers.
