Clubsauna Outside

Clubsauna Outside is Chemnitz's principal gay sauna and cruising venue, occupying 500 square metres across two floors at Reineckerstraße 64 in Chemnitz, Saxony. The ground floor anchors around a central bar — described by the venue itself as the contact point for hunger, thirst and any problems — alongside reception, changing rooms with lockers, and a compact shop selling towels, accessories, DVDs and underwear. Upstairs, the sauna area comprises a Finnish dry sauna, a steam bath, a whirlpool, rest cabins, private rental cabins, and a labyrinth-style darkroom with dedicated cruising zones throughout. The weekly calendar rotates through a series of themed sessions. Thursday is the long-standing Open Day, when gay, lesbian, bisexual and women visitors are explicitly welcomed alongside the regular gay-male clientele. Fridays carry discounted pricing for guests under 27; Mondays run as Happy Day at a promotional flat rate; Sundays operate on a two-for-one basis. Tuesdays are dark. Travel Gay named the venue a 4-Star Audience Award winner in both 2023 and 2024. Standard day-pass admission is €24.00 and includes a towel. A youth rate of €14.00 applies to guests under 27 on presentation of valid ID, and private cabin hire carries a supplement of €7.50. Bathing shoes are mandatory across the sauna floor and can be rented at the door for €1.50. Card payments are accepted. Prostitution is strictly prohibited.
