La Robina

Permanently closed. La Robina was an erotic café and relaxation lounge at Heerestraat 21 in central Leeuwarden, Friesland, open from November 2017 until an undetermined closing date. Founded by owner Robina Klaassen — who had previously opened a sister venue at Vismarktplein in Sneek — the premises occupied a space formerly trading as Club Kimberly. The Dutch Chamber of Commerce listing (KVK 60173076) marks the business as no longer active; the domain larobina.nl has since been hijacked by an unrelated gambling site, and the Heerestraat 21 address is now associated with successor venue Club Adam & Eva. The format was a licensed café rather than a ticket- or membership-based club: entry was free with a compulsory single-drink purchase at the bar, while room hire and individual worker services were charged separately. More than ten independent workers operated on site, offering massage, striptease, escort, and BDSM sessions. Shower facilities were available, and the venue accommodated guests with disabilities. Private rooms could be hired by individuals or couples alike. House rules centred on consent and hygiene: guests were required to shower before sexual contact, condom use was mandatory throughout, and photography and video recording were banned outright across the premises. Unsolicited touching, breath-play, drug use, and aggressive behaviour were all grounds for immediate removal. No personal customer data was retained digitally; CCTV footage was held only temporarily and not stored externally.
