Lifeinstyle STL is a St. Louis-based swinger and open-minded couples community founded in February 2016 by a couple who identify as Em and Lu. The group has no permanent clubhouse; it runs a rotating calendar of private parties at bars, restaurants and hotels around St. Louis, with larger takeover weekends staged farther afield at Lake of the Ozarks and other Midwest destinations. Membership is restricted to verified, approved accounts -- the group states that safety is its top priority and that it "carefully verifies all new members" and "never accepts fake profiles." Programming spans low-key monthly meet-and-greets at rotating St. Louis venues -- recent examples include a western-themed night at Shamrock's Pub downtown and a swimsuit party at Chapter 3 in Soulard -- up to full hotel takeovers built around themes such as a UV-lit Neon Glow party, Halloween, Valentine's and New Year's Eve. Its flagship event is National Swingers Weekend (NSW), a multi-night lakefront resort takeover at Lake of the Ozarks now in its seventh year, with daily pool parties, themed nights and DJs. The community also runs a blog, a "Swingz" podcast, a members' forum and chat, and its own branded lingerie and party-apparel shop. Attendance skews toward couples and single women; single men can attend only through a separate, more selective single-male account tied to specific events, and organizers note that first-timers typically make up 20-30% of guests at meet-and-greets. Entry to any party requires a pre-approved Lifeinstyle account, with approvals generally taking one to four days and granted at the administrator's discretion; door sales and on-site approvals are not permitted. Dress code defaults to cocktail attire unless a party carries its own theme. Some hotel takeovers, including the Neon Glow Party, are advertised as BYOB, and recent per-couple pricing has run from roughly $24.99-$28 for bar meet-and-greets (with single ladies often admitted free) up to about $79 per couple for hotel takeovers; tickets are non-refundable within 15 days of an event.
