The Chilli Club

The Chilli Club has operated from 3122 Great North Road in New Lynn, Auckland for over fifteen years, making it one of the city's longest-running adult lifestyle venues. The space functions under two linked identities: The Chilli Club hosts swinger parties and alternative lifestyle events, while CHOKE — the Chilli House of Kink Events — serves Auckland's kink and BDSM community with workshops, play parties, photography events and professional performances. Both arms share the same licensed premises, address and contact email. The play space spans approximately 200 square metres and is fitted accordingly: a fully licensed bar, multiple play areas with large-screen TVs, a stripper pole with full-length mirrors, a sex swing and a shower area. The space is also available for private hire — from intimate gatherings to BDSM workshops — with a non-refundable $100 deposit required to confirm a booking and the balance settled on the night. All attendees must be 18 or older and may be asked to present ID. Phones, cameras and all recording devices — including smart glasses such as Ray-Ban Meta — must be powered off and stored before entry. The venue's designated safe word is 'RED', and the consent framework explicitly endorses SSC, RACK and PRICK principles. Blood play, needles, breath play and scat are prohibited outright; violations may result in immediate removal and a permanent ban with no refund of entry fees.
