The Pleasure Garden Club

Tucked behind The Purple Orchid at the far end of a Passyunk Avenue strip mall in Philadelphia's Elmwood/Eastwick neighborhood, The Pleasure Garden Club has been one of the city's premier on-premise lifestyle destinations since opening in September 2006. The venue sits behind a gated private parking lot — well-lit and hidden from street view — and a pat-down security check at the door ensures no phones make it inside. With capacity for roughly 300 guests, the space centers on a large dance floor anchored by a stripper pole on a raised platform, flanked by two BYOB juice bars with complimentary mixers, a group shower with towel service, and a bank of lockers (bring your own padlock). Membership is bundled with entry via TicketLeap. Playrooms range from curtained private rooms and an open play pit to a dedicated gangbang room and two Sybian rooms (available for a $20 deposit). A side room off the main dance floor houses a permanent BDSM setup — St. Andrew's cross, a cage, a spiked wood throne with manacles, and suspension rigs — making it a genuine dual-use swinger/kink space. Overflow back rooms unlock on busier nights when the main areas fill up. Fridays (9 pm–2 am) welcome couples, single ladies, and single men; the first Friday of each month is PLEASUREcation, a kink-forward mixed party with dark/rock/EDM music and programming such as rope bondage demos. Saturdays (9 pm–3 am) are couples and single ladies only, with themed nights running the gamut from Mardi Gras to glow and sheer-wear parties.
