Club Utopia

Club Utopia traces its roots to 2020, when owner Jamie Venner launched a biker-bar night called Bikers and Babes on the outskirts of Yelverton, Devon. A fire at a neighbouring property prompted a move, and the club spent time in Airbnbs and hired social-club halls before settling at Graeden Park — a discreet private property on Ball Hill off the Old Exeter Road outside Chudleigh. From those modest beginnings it grew into what the club describes as 'arguably the largest and most vibrant club in the southwest of England,' running a calendar of extravagantly themed events — UtopiaFest, Heroes and Villains, Halloween couples nights, Oktoberfest, Coyote Ugly, and a Greedy Girls women-forward evening — to a membership of couples, single women, and vetted single men from across the South West. The venue houses 11 immersive play spaces, a dancefloor with mirrored walls, a side hall, and social lounge zones, all served by a fully licensed bar trading until 3am. Event nights open at 7pm with dress codes pitched to the theme — festival glitter, costumes, Bavarian regalia — and a 360° photo booth available for those who want a memento. Entry follows a mandatory four-step pre-registration process: create a Single or Couple account, upload identity documents, pass staff review, then buy tickets. Couples are always welcome; single females are encouraged; single men are admitted in limited, pre-vetted numbers only. No walk-ins are accepted. Annual membership is available at a fee listed on the registration page, giving members ticket discounts and access to future event perks; individual event tickets were priced at £50 for the 2025 UtopiaFest festival night. The club also sells a companion book — 'A Real-Life Guide to Swinging with Style' — through the website, and maintains social media on Instagram and TikTok. As of July 2026 the operating company, Club Utopia Ltd (Companies House no. 15768206), was formally dissolved, and the website listed no upcoming events.
