Complexe Libertin Obsession

Complexe Libertin Obsession — also known under its earlier name Entre Nous 2, and later branded Club Obsession — was a lifestyle and nightclub complex at 6500 Boulevard Henri-Bourassa Est in the Montreal-Nord borough of Montreal, Quebec. The venue is permanently closed. It declared bankruptcy within three weeks of Quebec's COVID-19 lockdown beginning in March 2020 and vacated its premises in early June 2020, ending an operation that had billed itself as the largest swinger club in the world. The complex grew in two phases. Entrepreneurs from the Montreal libertine community launched Entre Nous 2 in 2017 as the lifestyle component: a 24-hour venue accommodating up to 400 guests and featuring an indoor heated pool, a hot tub and spa, a dry sauna, a massage area, a dark room, a bar, and multiple private and group rooms. In late 2018 the owners acquired an adjacent warehouse space and began converting approximately 18,000 square feet of it into Obsession Night Club, which opened in early 2019. The combined footprint of the two connected venues exceeded 40,000 square feet. The nightclub side featured a large central DJ booth designed so every guest felt close to the performer, a VIP section described as upscale and modern, and a licensed bar. The design aesthetic drew deliberately on Las Vegas-style nightlife. Themed events on the lifestyle side regularly drew 500 to 600 attendees, and the largest evenings exceeded 1,000 people. The two venues operated as an intentional continuum: the nightclub held a liquor licence and closed at 3 a.m., at which point guests wishing to continue the evening could transition directly into the Entre Nous 2 side, which remained open around the clock. No verified published pricing for the lifestyle side has been independently confirmed, though the venue is consistently described as operating on an admission and membership model similar to other Quebec libertine clubs. A dress code applied on Friday and Saturday evenings. Management enforced a strict privacy policy that prohibited tours of the premises for first-time visitors prior to payment, a rule the owner publicly attributed to protecting existing members.
