The Pendulum Club South

Sitting just off Airport Boulevard near Hobby Airport, The Pendulum Club South opened in 2018 as one of Houston's only women-owned and operated lifestyle venues. Billed as the 'hip and young at heart' sibling in TPC's three-location network, it trades the original Hempstead brothel-replica aesthetic for a mid-town contemporary vibe — a compact, deliberately intimate space that caps capacity to guarantee a lively atmosphere even on quieter nights. Tours are offered to first-timers who arrive before 10:30 PM, and the staff-led walkthrough is a signature touch from the women who run all three clubs. The layout unfolds from a main dance floor with a full bar setup (BYOB — cups, ice, and mixers provided free) into a separate select-area lounge ringed by booth seating and a private dance stage, where exhibitionists can perform for their partners. Beyond that lies the back area: four private rooms, a veiled bed, a group bed surrounded by couches, and an adjacent room with its own private space. Admission is couples, single women, and a limited number of single men on Friday nights only; single men must exit by 2 AM and access to the front playrooms is restricted. A $10 nightly membership fee is collected at the door on top of the cover charge. The club runs Friday and Saturday nights from 9 PM to 3 AM, with doors closing at 2 AM — no admittance after that. Membership registration is required before your first visit and a government-issued photo ID must be presented at entry. A colour-coded wristband system lets guests signal their interests and comfort levels without a word being exchanged. Dress code is enforced: smart-casual or better for men (collared shirt, dress slacks, clean footwear), sexy and classy for women. No cameras, phones, or recording devices anywhere inside the venue.
