Krewe of Swingtown (KOS)

Founded in 2005 as the only lifestyle-oriented Mardi Gras Krewe in the country, the Krewe of Swingtown has grown into one of Texas's most-attended adult social organizations over its 20-year history. Based in Houston, the KOS operates as a roaming event collective rather than a fixed venue, taking over campgrounds, ranch venues, and private spaces across Texas for weekend-long parties that blend festival energy with an inclusive swinger ethos. Flagship events like the annual Guadalupe River Trip draw 1,000-plus attendees to New Braunfels, complete with theme nights, naughty contests, adult games, and a weekend lineup that never formally stops. What sets KOS apart is its low-pressure culture. The group welcomes full-swap and soft-swap couples, single women, and bi and straight attendees alike; single men may attend only when accompanied by a female date or sponsored by a participating couple. Membership unlocks the private booking portal and priority registration windows, though events can also be purchased individually. The KOS calendar spans the full year: Mardi Gras house parties in Galveston (January-February), the Summer Vibes Party at Linnett Ranch in Henderson TX (June), the Guadalupe River Trip near New Braunfels (June), the Texas Renaissance Festival Conquest with Clan SOB (October-December), and New Year's Eve and Christmas parties to bookend the calendar.
