YKW (You Know Where)

YKW (You Know Where) is a long-running lifestyle/swingers club brand based in Fayetteville, North Carolina, that has had no operating venue since 2022. The address on file for its former club, 815 Shannon Dr, was vacated after the club lost its lease; as of mid-2026 the operators have not opened a replacement location, and the brand's public presence consists mainly of social-media updates rather than a functioning venue. Founded in 2005, YKW spent roughly its final decade at the Shannon Drive building, billing itself as North Carolina's first fully licensed, permitted and insured on-premise swingers club and citing more than 40,000 accumulated member sign-ups over its run. Per the club's own website, the closure was not a legal or licensing issue: the property's new landlord declined to renew YKW's lease past June 1, 2022, stating he did not want to be associated with "our type of business" after more than ten years as a tenant. YKW held a farewell party on May 21, 2022, and has been searching for a new home since. The operators say they dropped an earlier ground-up rebuild plan in favor of remodeling an existing, roughly 27,000-square-foot building, with permitting and buildout reportedly in progress.
